Ingredients

  • 1 lb Verde Farms Organic 100% Grass-Fed Ground Beef
  • ½ cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for sautéing)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven
  1. Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cook the Beef & Onions
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add onions and sauté until soft and fragrant.
  3. Stir in Verde Farms Ground Beef and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Add Seasoning & Sauce
  1. Mix in ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  2. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, then remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Assemble the Pockets
  1. Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
  2. Spoon the beef mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
  3. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese, then fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal.
Bake Until Golden
  1. Arrange pockets on the prepared baking sheet.
  2. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  3. Let cool slightly before serving.
